Today was our first day at the school itself. A very rainy day, so a good day to work hard. The students rehearsed (and invented a part of their own roles) their version of the Court scene of the Merchant of Venice.

We haven't forgotten our Sustainability theme either: We visited a school where children who need extra help are educated as cooks. TheY prepared and served a lunch for us in a very professional way. meanwhile our students learned a lot about the typical Italian food from the region we are visiting : Salami, Risotto, Tiramisù...delicious!

In the afternoon we visited the Biofuel plant in Tortona. Especially interesting to see everybody working in laboratories while an invasion of sixty students took place...Unfortunately I could not make pictures there.
Tonight everybody has dinner with the hosting families, who already spoiled the Dutch kids with lots of good food. The first evening we had dinner together in a Pizzeria in Salice:
